Pokemon Stadium Game for the Nintendo 64

Pokemon is one of the most popular game franchises that Nintendo has released. In fact, the franchise has spawned numerous TV shows as well as plenty of games in the past years.

Pokemon games are usually Role-playing games where you take control of a character and battle against different gym leaders and such.

But today, I will talk about the Pokemon Stadium Game for the Nintendo 64. This is not considered as an RPG game since this game doesn’t really have a plot to it.

Basically, this game pits you with other Pokemon and you will also have the chance to defeat other gym trainers as well.

The beauty of the Pokemon Stadium Game for the Nintendo 64 is that it has a “transfer pak” addon. Basically, what this does is that it allows you to transfer your Pokemon lineup from the Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow games. If you’ve played those games and have a sizable lineup of Pokemon, you can access them and trade them to be used in the Pokemon Stadium Game for the Nintendo 64.

There are two major game modes in the game. One game mode is the Stadium cup, where you will battle against Pokemon trainers in a three-on-three style format.

Another major game mode is the “Gym Leader Castle”. In this game mode, you will be pitted against 8 different Kanto Gym Leaders. After defeating these gym leaders, you will then fight the Elite Four.

Defeat all of them and you will now have access to defeat the champion. After beating the champion, Mewtwo will appear and he will act as the final boss.

After defeating Mewtwo, he will open up a new Gym Leader Castle tournament but with a higher difficulty rating.

The Pokemon Stadium Game for the Nintendo 64 showcases 151 Pokemon. The thing about this game is that you have to make sure that you have a Pokemon with a different elemental affinity.

That is to make sure that you have a Pokemon lineup that can fight against different types of Pokemon.

Your lineup has to be dynamic so that you can change to the Pokemon that is a weakness for your opponent’s Pokemon.

Aside from the two major game modes, there are additional contents that are added to the game as well.

The first additional content is the “Free Battle” mode. In this mode, you can play against your friends in a freestyle format. You have the option to follow the original rules or you can create your own set of rules.

The next additional content is the “Battle Now!”. In this game mode, you will fight against the computer AI or you can fight with another player as well. Both of you will have preset Pokemon to use.

There are also various unlockables in the game and you can see them in the victory palace and the gallery.

Even though this game doesn’t have a plot, the Pokemon Stadium Game for the Nintendo 64 is still a fun game and one that every Pokemon fanatic should consider playing.

HTC 10

HTC was a great mobile phone company. When they first landed on the mainstream mobile phone scene, they shocked the world with the HTC One. It was the first phone that people agreed to be one of the best mobile phones ever.

Unfortunately, the subsequent mobile phone models from the company didn’t quite live up to its predecessor’s success. HTC released subpar phones that are okay at best.

The company went to the drawing board and they’re hoping that this new mobile phone will put them back in the spotlight once again.

Their new mobile phone offering is none other than the HTC 10. That’s right, it doesn’t have an “M” to the side of it and it doesn’t even have the “One” moniker. It simply dons the name “10”.

The HTC 10’s design is premium. It looks and feels premium as it dons an all-metal construction. Although it doesn’t have round edges, the phone is still pleasant to hold thanks to the polished front and nice roughness to the back cover.

The buttons are on their usual placements with the smooth volume controls on the right as well as the well-textured power button just at the top of it. The headphone jack is located at the top while the microUSB port is situated at the bottom.

People would be pleased to know that the HTC 10 comes with a fingerprint scanner. The phone’s scanner is quite sensitive and accurate and it only lags behind by a small margin with Samsung’s Galaxy S7.

Speaking of the design, when you buy the HTC 10, it also comes with a nice case which the company calls the “Ice View Case”. Basically, the Ice View Case is a case that not only protects the HTC 10, but it also gives a bit of functionality into it as well.

You can use the screen while the cover is on. You can accept or reject calls and you can read text messages, all without taking off the Ice View Case.

The HTC 10’s got a better screen. The phone comes with a 5.2-inch quad HD display (2560×1440) which means that you get a better screen and a brighter one at that.

Looking at images and viewing media on the phone is a welcome treat. It is surprising, at least to me, that the company opted for a new display technology in the form of the Super LCD 5. It is still not mainstream but from the looks of it, the display is actually quite nice.

Under the hood, you will find the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor, the Adreno 530 GPU, and a hefty 4GB of RAM. You might think that 4GB of RAM is overkill, but at least, you’re assured that this phone will still be good for years to come.

The camera of the HTC 10 has vastly been improved. Before, HTC was banking on more megapixels but it didn’t turn out to be a good idea. Now, the HTC 10 has a slightly lower megapixel count but it now has a better snapper, a faster camera app, and the post-processing power is faster as well.

The pictures taken by the camera were pretty good and there were little to no noise. It does suffer a bit when using it under low-lit environments, but it is just a bit and nothing too major.

Overall, I feel that the HTC 10 is a good phone and one that should put the mobile phone company back to the races.

Xiaomi MI 4i

Xiaomi, a Chinese mobile phone company, has created a slew of mobile phones that are mostly targeted for the middle class.

Today, we are going to talk about the Xiaomi MI 4i. This mobile phone is a new iteration of their previous flagship model, the Xiaomi MI 4.

The design Xiaomi MI 4i deviates from the original model’s aluminum frame and glossy back cover. They’ve now incorporated a matte polycarbonate material to prevent the mobile phone from slipping from your hands.

Most people who have tried the original MI 4 said that the phone is notorious for slippage. Hopefully, this new design aspect rectifies that issue.

The power button and the volume controls are situated on their respective places on the right side of the mobile phone and they do provide a good tactile feedback. At the top of the Xiaomi MI 4i lies the headphone jack. At the bottom, you will see the microUSB charging port and on the left side of the phone lies the dual microSIM tray.

On the front of the camera, we have a 5-megapixel front camera at the top and just beside it is a notification LED (which is quite common in most mobile phones nowadays). The beauty of the LED notification light is that you can actually assign specific colors to the kinds of notifications you will receive. You can tinker with that option in the settings menu of the device.

The display Xiaomi MI 4i of the is still the same as its predecessor. This mobile phone has a 5-inch IPS display with a screen resolution of 1920×1080 and it also has a pixel density of 441ppi.

As expected with IPS display panels, the Xiaomi MI 4i provides vibrant displays and excellent viewing angles. The brightness adjustments of the phone are also very good and you can clearly see the images flashed by the display even when you’re outside.

The Xiaomi MI 4i also houses some impressive specs. It comes with a 64-bit octa-core processor in Snapdragon 615 that has 4 cores clocked at 1.7GHz and 4 cores clocked at 1 GHz. It also has the Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB of RAM which is a treat for most multitaskers.

This mobile phone comes with Android Lollipop version 5.0.2 with their proprietary MiUI version 6 overlay. The MiUI interface is a little bit memory-intensive, but thankfully, this mobile phone can handle it.

The camera of the Xiaomi MI 4i is pretty much average as it comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera and the aforementioned 5-megapixel camera at the front of the phone. The rear camera does come with a dual-tone LED flash for better camera quality in low-light conditions.

If there’s one thing I do not like about this phone is its lack of a microSD card. This phone only has 16GB of storage, which in today’s terms, doesn’t mean a lot.

Still, if you’re looking for a good mid-range phone (and you don’t mind the 16GB storage space), then the Xiaomi MI 4i is a good choice.

The SlimByNature hCG diet drops has been specifically created for people who want to try the hCG diet and for people who have very busy lives in general. Since most of us don’t have the time nor the energy to go to the gym and exercise, we resort to stressful eating. This ultimately leads us to being fat.hcg

With the hCG Diet Drops, you do not need to do some physical exercises, and it will still help you lose weight. How? The hCG hormone uses stored fat as energy. By converting fats to energy, you will have a lot of energy throughout the day, even if you’re following a calorie-restricted diet.

Lena: “I have put over 25kg during my pregnancy and after my precious son was born had over 15 kg to loose. I have tried many different diets but without a great success. Within 3 weeks of using Slim By Nature I lost over 10kg!! More importantly I lost volume in those areas that matter the most and usually the ones where it is difficult to lose weight, my stomach was flat and the ‘muffin tops’ were gone, my legs and upper arms were as skinny as they were when I was 18!! 🙂 I couldn’t be happier. Also, the cellulite on my legs that I struggled to get rid off for over 10 years was completely GONE!!!”

Hanna: “I lost 15 kilos in 43 days!! I had always been happy with my weight till I had my daughter and didn’t stop gaining weight ever since. I finally decided to lose weight because my problems were getting much bigger. I turned to more food to mask my unhappiness with being so overweight, I only walked from the kitchen to the living room and reaching a size 22. But, with the help of the hCG diet drops, I was able to lose a lot of weight the healthy way.”

The SlimByNature hCG Diet drops is sold in bundles. The prices range from $99 up to $199 depending on the program you want to participate in. With real success stories, the SlimByNature hCG Diet Drops seems pretty legitimate.

Flashcarts for Nintendo 3DS

In this article, we’re going to cover a rather controversial subject: how gamers really use flashcards, such as the well known R4 3DS.

Storage device or ‘game copier?’

The R4 and similar devices are primarily used as storage devices. They store various different files, including video files, music files and the ever-controversial game ROMs. Since these devices can hold and help the DS brand of consoles execute game ROMs, they’ve been branded with the moniker, ‘illegal game copier.’

According to several industry sources, most savvy gamers do use flashcarts to play game ROMs. People who search for flashcarts will see search results more or less implicating the ‘true use’ of flashcarts right out in the open. But, despite the ‘elephant in the room,’ flashcarts do have a legitimate use.

Nintendo, naturally, has noticed the popularity of these devices and have responded accordingly. Besides taking legal action against some of the manufacturers of these devices, they’ve also made movements in stopping these flashcarts from being used in conjunction with the Nintendo 3DS. Now, gamers can expect their Nintendo 3DSs to block the function of most flashcarts.

But, it doesn’t mean that they don’t work with the portable game console anymore.

The flourishing homebrew scene

Homebrew. Homebrew constitutes any program or application made to use on any proprietary device. Homebrew games exist on defunct consoles like the Sega Saturn, Sega Dreamcast and Microsoft’s original Xbox. The Nintendo Wii also has an active homebrew scene.

Flashcarts, however, allow developers to create homebrew applications and games for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS consoles. While the GBA homebrew scene was relatively ‘inaccessible’ by most users for years, the presence of R4-like flashcarts for the DS have exposed them to the world of DS-related homebrew.

That’s one big reasons why many industry observers think that calling flashcarts ‘illegal game copiers’ might be inaccurate.

Even though people do use flashcarts for ‘gaming,’ they’re still necessary for accessing various types of homebrew applications and, yes, games.

Where to go with flashcarts

Flashcarts aren’t perfect devices. They certainly aren’t use for ‘ethical’ means. However, they do have a lot of use when it comes to the homebrew scene. When you think about it, the homebrew scene alone can support the use of flashcarts for gaming.

However, since most people do use flashcarts for ROMs, most trusted gaming resources can’t recommend the use of flashcarts in most situations. Therefore, it’s up to the user to use flashcarts in an ethical way.
